Stephanie and Henry hit the Michigan spring weather jackpot for their early May wedding at Black Barn Vineyard and Winery. After weeks of rain, it was partly sunny and 65 degrees and everything was blooming green. This special couple put so much thought into their wedding for each other, their families and their guests. There were special moments sprinkled throughout the day, such as a first look with their parents and Stephanie doing a first look with their son, Easton. Stephanie and Henry saved their first look for when she walked down the aisle to a surprise song she had chosen, that’s when all the feels started! After a heartfelt outdoor ceremony, these two took advantage of the lovely weather with bridal party pictures on the gorgeous grounds. Guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers on the deck and courtyard and we were able to open the garage doors to the main reception room.
The tables were adorned with romantic lace accents, string lighting in gold lanterns and lush greenery sprigs with navy napkins. Centered on the napkins were monogrammed cork coaster favors for each guest. Champagne toasts opened up the reception that led to a wonderful dinner from Grady’s Catering. Guests were treated to beyond amazing cupcakes made by a family friend of the couple. Flavors included very berry, lemon zest, German chocolate and peanut butter cup- they were a hit! Mid-Michigan Entertainment made sure that the dance floor was grooving all night long and provided a photo booth that was perfect for dancing breaks. Guests were also surprised with a popcorn snack bar and pizza as a late night snack! This party did not stop until the lights came on!
Stephanie and Henry, we wish you so much happiness! Congratulations!
