It was nothing but blue skies and sunshine for Kaitlin and Andrew’s April 6th wedding. The day started at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where Kaitlin and Andrew pledged their love to each other before God, their family, and friends. The Church served as a gorgeous backdrop for getting ready photos and family formals as well. Streamer wands made of fabric stripes and jingle bells created a festive exit for the newlyweds!
After the ceremony, guests headed to the reception held at Black Barn Vineyard and Winery. Simple greens accompanied by white roses were set atop light blue table runners to create a whimsical tablescape. Wood stained table numbers were nestled in the greenery along with candles. White roses were also used for the cake from The Pastry Perlieu. The greens and white from the tables lent themselves to an unofficial Michigan State University theme. Earlier in the week leading up to the wedding, Michigan State University advanced in the NCAA Tournament to the Final 4. Kaitlin and Andrew knew they didn’t want to miss the game, which was now scheduled to be played during their reception. They brought in a giant TV and popcorn so that their guests could enjoy the game while DJ J Man played on. Although MSU didn’t end up winning, it was a fun addition to an already wonderful evening.
We wish these two nothing but the best in life! Cheers to Kaitlin and Andrew and a life of happiness together!
