There’s an old saying that it’s good luck to have rain on your wedding day. Well, if that’s the case, Amanda and Joe were showered with good luck! April in Michigan can be a fickle beast, you never quite know what you will get! Amanda and Joe’s anticipated outdoor ceremony had to be moved inside because of the chilly weather and impending rain. Those two were cool as cucumbers the whole time and did not let the rain affect their excitement for their big day.
We created a romantic indoor ceremony setting at Black Barn Vineyard and Winery with floral decor by MI Wildflower Weddings. Amanda and Joe were married surrounded by their kids in an intimate and meaningful ceremony. MI Wildflower Weddings included the perfect spring mix in their floral arrangements with tulips, lilacs, ranunculus, roses and hydrangeas. Finley’s Grill & Smokehouse provided some of the couple’s favorite BBQ foods and was a definite crowd-pleaser! The evening was emceed by R & S DJ’z, which was filled with memorable moments such as when their daughters gave a toast to their parents and a special daddy/daughter dance.
Congratulations Amanda and Joe, we wish you so much happiness!
